SAN ANTONIO - The MDA Muscle Walk was held today at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Hundreds of participants came out in support of this annual event as they have for several years. The event draws people afflicted with the muscular dystrophy and family members who care for those afflicted with this disease.
Every year this event draws many teams from the local area. These are teams that provide outreach and information to their specific communities. Organizers were pleased with the good weather, a good turnout and donations collected. Organizers were also grateful to volunteer groups from local businesses that help with the process and registration of participants. Without a doubt this annual event will continue throughout the following years.
